Also: the bug is just the metal shell, minus the chassis, which was cut off painstakingly (thank you, Manny.) It sits on a wood platform that’s bolted and liquid nailed to the bus frame, then the bug was bolted to the frame. After that, the fenders, lights, windows, and hood lids were added. Manny the hippie, helped us out on all fronts “throwing it up there.”
The project itself is, yet, unfinished; leaks, accessories, and electrical connects as well as a manageable interior and insulation are still needed. Your contributions make us better and are much appreciated!
