Fair humanity! I hope y’all are well! It’s a heatwave in the Western part of the US. Arizona reaching record highs and melting cars. Here in Montana we got close to 100*F which I enjoy. I like being hot because the lethargy is excusable and gives me energy through the cooler parts of the day.
The trailer roof is almost up. The bus floor is sanded. We set up a tarpy tent to put my mom’s couches in and I’ve been back and worth seeing Catie and her freezer. The freezer may be helpful but the true joy is Catie’s vibe. I don’t have to worry about stepping on her toes because she knows we’re just humans sharing experiences and my experience isn’t here to infringe on hers. I’ve never wished to infringe on anyone with my opinion.
Yesterday was break day, so Oryan, the kids and I drove up to Big Sky for a scenic lift ride up andesite Mountain. Big Sky has changed alot since they last time I’d been up on the hill which was when Atreyu was about a year old and I worked in the kitchen part of the daycare on weekends whilst Atreyu played in the group. They’ve revamped a lot and, as every summer, they’re working on redoing more. It’s definitely gotten more populated and has some nuances of dreams where I was already pretty sure that it was Big Sky area.
I’ve made contact for therapy and should have my first session next Monday. I’m very hopeful for any sort of help. Medicaid should cover it all which is really the only reason I can fathom to afford it.
I also opened up a GoFundMe as we’re at the point of needing funds to get our home back on the road. I’m trying to balance my frugal reduce, reuse, recycle attitude with I need to throw everything out in an attempt to get rid of these mother-fluffers. I finished listening to Anna Karenina a little while ago and switched to Bram Stokers Dracula and also picked up the book my friend Mama Zeigh wrote “I don’t make round tortillas.” I also imbibed on a tv show called “sweet tooth” all in an attempt to get out of my head a little more again.
Since it’s been so hot, the kids and I have been in the creek trying to cool down. I’m trying my best to limit their electronics while also trying to find time to work their workbooks, though I’m not being very strict.
Today is more insecticide day. I just want these bugs to die and be dead and leave me alone.
Anyway. Imma leave it at this because I’m struggling. Ha. I’m loving you and hope you stay grateful!
