Wow, uhm yeah! I just went to check where I officially left y’all at, when I realized my blog post I wrote 7 days ago never published! Poo me! But I am grateful it published now…. though I still dunno wtf I’m doing, I’ve been kicking myself for not writing for days now.
I do feel like I’ve accomplished a lot in the last week from getting tuned into the instagram stories which will take some practice on my front to keep consistent. It’s definitely furtheering a more intimate look into our daily life, if done properly. We’ve been camping during which time I managed to edit and publish a couple videos on youtube and get back into a better exercise routine.
Another thing that happened is that I was contacted via instagram by a _bosslady named Samantha. She said she had seen us at the VW show and wanted me to make an amazon wishlist that she would share in a group with a post about Bugus and us. It took some days for me to get a focus on this and some exchanges with Samantha fine tuning the list and sharability, but yesterday she made the post and I’m amazed that there are things on their way to my mom’s. That is beyond cool! and I’m so grateful! I’m brainstorming ways to show our gratitude creatively and as a family unit. A song and dance sounds like a good idea so far. Something to send through the interwebs thats still full of thought and love. If you’re interested to see what my wishlist looks like, or even want to send us something, please do check it out here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3LUAOP5L0M5FY?ref_=wl_share
On another point, the campsite we visited was south of tallahassee (spelling that one is like Mississippi) a really neat spot right outside crawfordville. On our last night there Atreyu puked in his bed and we really didn’t need that kind of a reason to go back into town. The laundromat definitely needed a reason as such as I really didn’t have that much else to wash.

I’ve been sticking to backroad highways because they’re way more relaxed driving and hold such beauty. We did some small town walmart stops paired with playgrounds, so nothing really sighty educational, but we dug into some workbooks and reading practice pairing such with positive affirmations of success (also a big life journaling with Atreyu) I do have to admit that I’m kind of inconsistent with what we do when and reading practice is all about consistency so that’s what we’re doing. Building confidence with sightwords and not getting overwhelmed with bigger words and sentences. Because mistakes are how we grow.
Creativity isn’t much taught in schools and then in a structured setting that somewhat inhibits the natural creative process. I look at my run on sentences and cringe, but then I remember that it’s poetry in motion. I’m writing the way my thoughts form, though IÂ still edit out and renavigate as necessary to try and form coherence.
Which this travel blog seems to lack. Where are we anyway? Well, to not answer that again, I started nearing Jacksonville and felt the dire need for a shower so stopped off at the truck stop but couldn’t fathom the energy to ask truckers for tickets or even face someone to purchase one. Or even get us ready to actually do such. Ha. So instead I found a campground with showers. A stateforest in Bryce(ville?) northwest of jacksonville. Their measly 6 campsites were full and taken up so we drove another hour and crossed into Georgia to this lovely bigger campground that’s 10$ a night for tent camping and boom! that’s the answer.
I am having a hard time getting things done in my standard. It took me two hours to get to Yoga. Twice people came up which were pleasant conversations and worth the delays. I received a paypal contribution from a wonderful lady who had walked her absolutely precious pupper at the campsite that was full while we drove through and it took me forever to compose a short message. This is taking forever. Preparing meals takes forever today and Saliha is taking forever getting back to me too. ha. But a walk will ensue soon too and then maybe later I will edit a video. I have this conundrum. I was going to make a mix of all the last few things we did into a semi long video, but as I put them all together to sort through for the best of it all (over an hour of stuff) I just realized how much would be cut out. BOO! So now I’m like make a cool somewhat longer video (max 20-25 minutes) and then a few more indepth side videos…. OR! just do the little fluffing videos the way they’ve been recorded and intended to do?
I Just remembered our other adventure we had recently. We stopped at these springs that’s the shortest river in the world cause most of it is in a cave. The kids swam in the chilly water after we took a crap of a bushwhack getting lost and disoriented. I even had to use my maps to try and get us back to a road from which we just walked along and around the corner back to the bus. Bum deal since if we had succeeded we’d probably seen the cave hole entry. Divers are advized not to go close unless experienced.
So, I do have to go get on with it… as in life in general. Before I add ending notes Imma do as I did before and take a timed break! Maybe thats how it didn’t post. i will time a check in on that too.
I failed to set a timer, so here I am on the next day. The kids had a great day yesterday. The river here is great for the kid to go splash, so in the next hour or so we’ll be driving the bus the half mile to spend some more time right next to the river. The bus is clean and the kids are practicing balancing on their strider bikes.Galixy already did her workbook letter for today. A good start.
After we have our fill of water splashing we’ll head north east. We’ll see as I check freecampsites.net and Walmart/truck stop/rest area/national forest locations. Atreyu needs his seat raised. in general they need real bikes. One of which is already at my mom’s.
I do want to take the chance to remind you to read up on where we’ve been here:
At this point, I must say that we do run on donations and I greatly appreciate your contributions. Every little bit helps and gets us to explore just a little more of this exciting world. I accept donations via CashApp: $MatildaBugus and paypal: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/matildabugus
And as a final note, as usual, I really hope that you feel gratitude for whatever this life has given you today. If it’s not the best day or even not even a good day, IÂ hope you know that there are better ones around the corner and that these days are necessary in their own ways. Some times it’s hard to be grateful, but finding something small that is positive in the day, while acknowledging the not so fun stuff can shift your life infinitsmally to something beautiful. Taking a step back from it all and looking at a bigger or different picture. I do hope you smile. Share a smile. Maybe share this via the below links.
