The sun is already down. Said good bye to it, till next year. We did laundry today to great the fresh year with an almost empty laundry basket. Besides, it was a gray and rainy and cold day.
Once everything was wet, but packed up we left tonopah and el Dorado hot springs and headed west to Quartzsite.
So here we are. It’s still pretty empty for what it will be, but we HAVE to figure out good lighting and heat for this bus. It’s cold.
We built our gingerbread village today while in the campsite in the rain.
And yesterday we painted custom skoolie inhabitant “stick figures” on the side š
Totally ready for more sun tomorrow. Got my warm clothes clean and my bed and curtains done up all nicely nice! But the name of the game is stay up as late as possible with the kids. Made a list of goals with them. For atreyu it includes learning to read, paying attention to mom, and counting to 50. Galixy wants to learn to swim, and be nicer to brother in 2019, while I want to be a better parent, less yelling and no threatening. AND make the bus the best runner and very comfortable inhabiting.
Quite the list to do… but I think I can.
