Presto Manifesto.
Y’all. It was a connection from the fuse box to the injector pump. I feel so elated that the thing isn’t dead and so furious that it’s such a “simple” thing that took so long.
Who figured it out? This cool guy named John who was brought over by a cool guy named John. And as they started, this guy drove up to help us out with a donation, turned out he hadn’t seen mechanic John in ten years, even though they’d been born at the same hospital on the same day. They checked and vroom vroomed the beast and made sure things were looking proper on all aspects!
What a blessing these humans of Clinton are! What a blessing for family and friends we have!
I feel so grateful and relieved that this worked out and that she feels beautiful and normal again!
So we drove to the fuel station and got us some fuel. We just really needed to get out of the walmart parking lot and put a little bit of fuel cycled through this things.
We stopped at a park for hiking to a waterfall for cooling down an exercising the animals. It was wonderful recharging.
From there we drove out of New Jersey into the corner of Pennsylvania before going through New York (state)
I am feeling like we need a nice night at a hotel after such a plethora of malfunctions. Especially since it’s been so hot and we didn’t get our three nights stay in virginia beach. And it’s been so hot.
Anyway I got side tracked. These lovely people here in Milford are fluffing amazing. We pulled in and unwound a bit and this lovely couple pulled up to give us some fuel money and asked what else we could need. My mind doesn’t go “flywheel” or “interior.” It says “We could use dinner! Like a cheese pizza?” and they graciously brought it! I’m so blessed.
That other mechanic, Pete, never showed. I called him towards afternoon when the heat was starting to wane a bit. I was hopeful he’d show up and I wouldn’t have to pester him When I got a hold of him he graciously informed me that his coworkers and him had been discussing my situation all day, but he wasn’t going to come out until Monday when the weather wouldn’t make him so uncomfortable. So what I take from that was they were discussing how to deal with my situation, not mechanically because they hadn’t even deigned to look at it yet.
However, it worked out just fine.
