As freeing as it felt to get into Montana, was matched with the feeling, if not doubled of getting back out of Montana. I definitely don’t feel like we explored the area enough, but I had a lot to get done, and a lot to process. Besides I had hoped to get my kids some grandparent time. I’m beyond grateful for the time they received.

I must’ve left off at Brownes Bridge, aye? I sincerely think I did because I did lose some hope the very next morning. I woke up to have the dental implant half coming out of it’s spot. I pushed it back into the spot but had to call up the Oral surgeon who gave me an appointment five days from then.

It meant I had plenty of time to be in Dillon and meet up with a friend there who replaced the pot for my mint plant with a way more beautiful one. There were a lot of wonderful people I had the pleasure of meeting in that little college town.

We spent the night in a campsite and took a walk in the morning, collecting firewood to roast some day time marshmallows upon Galixy’s request before going back into town for a mellow day of playground and trying to make more money come in. From there we went to another campsite north of Dillon. It was very nice and dark and we slept in beautifully.

So we headed back to Bozeman on a slow but steady roll.

I replaced the swimsuits I’d thought we’d lost and spent a night in the Walmart parking lot and went to the Hot Springs to soak a bit. I was a bit nervous about the parking situation there so we went pretty early during the day. Whilst we were there a handsome man came up and asked if it was my bus out there. He’s an on-the-verge nomad so we hung out and chatted a bit. He left his contact information on my windshield so we may have a chance to meet up in the near future.

We did laundry at the Duds and Suds which was the best overnight spot in Bozeman from my point of view. If I’d had the wherewithall I would’ve gotten the wifi password whilst we were doing laundry, but even without that, it was the darkest and most quiet street in Bozeman with quick access to the Once upon a Child and Albertsons. It also had a nice neighborhood to take the dogs for walkings.

In the morning, we headed over to my dental appointment and took another little walk around another neighborhood. The dental surgeon said that the bone graft seemed mostly in place and he didn’t want to irritate the spot again. It seemed like my body rejected it this time but we will try again next summer when I return. My therapist said that maybe it’s just how it’s supposed to be.

As we were pumping fuel, a guy I’d met a couple years ago while driving Bugus pulled up on the speedy, so happy to see us again. It took me a bit to recognize whom I was speaking to, but the encounter we had when we first met was pretty memorable, so it wasn’t long and hopefully not too harsh for him for me to realize with whom I was speaking. I’m very grateful to be remembered and have the priviledge to make re-connections. If we weren’t on our way out we would’ve gone and hung out with him for a bit, but once I put my mind to doing, it’s hard to dissuade my body and mind. Fighting that will simply lead to a restless human.

So we drove a good hour to a cute little campground with fresh water to refill our tank.

From there we drove to Ennis and had a beautiful couple hours exploring the library there which had some absolutely breathtaking childrens books. One Galixy and I coveted deeply. I certainly read it to my phone camera in hopes to upload it to youtube eventually. I used the internet there to download the third book of the Inheritance series, “Brisingr.” Then we took a stroll around the little main street before heading to get more fuel. A guy who recently got mauled by a bear pulled up and took pix of Bugus and helped out with some fuel money.

Then we headed out and off into Idaho where we found a beautiful spot to boondock for two nights. There I had therapy and spent the rest of the day organizing our home to a point of near perfection. The kids have been on doing their workbooks and Atreyu and I have been fighting the reading thing multiple times a day. He’ll get there sooner than later. I’m very proud of us.

Today we went to a laundromat in Ashton. We could’ve surely spent more time there, but my Manifold has been loose for long enough and I’ve gotten fed up by such. I called around for a mechanic and got a hold of The poor Boys mechanics here in Rexburg. These cats are young and super sincere. One of them came right over to the bus, we popped the hood and he was like doubtfully “hmmm” so I popped off the doghouse and he was like, “yep! Right there! Ya can see where it’s smoking from. All ya need is a new Gasket and removing some bolts.” What an awesome shop.

So we went to the autozone and got the gasket. Then I took the kids to the park to play and let the dogs run a bit. From there we went to the thrift store. Met a man from Hamilton who said he may not have much mechanical experience but he’d help us with it. We found some new shoes, plates, keyboard that is congruent with our inverter, and a real silver ring with amethyst set for the cheapest price I could imagine.

So we pulled to the Walmart and these two traveling guys pulled up and ended up putting the gasket in during which this momma and her daughter came up to give me a donation and even gave the guy (he fluffing told me his name and it just dropped out of my fluffing mind) some moolah!

At this point, I must say that we do run on donations and I greatly appreciate your contributions. Every little bit helps and gets us to explore just a little more of this exciting world. I accept donations via CashApp: $MatildaBugus and paypal: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/matildabugus
