Back on the ROAD! heading south!!

Today was stressful. Honestly the last couple of days were hectic. I scrapped together some odds and ends and ran around. Everytime I thought I was getting somewhere something else would pop up, like filling the water tank, getting the propane hooked up finding spots for tools and cleaning up as much as my energy allowed. The kids were being decently behaved. I had a goal set for leaving Sunday morning. Sunday noon was just as well on that level!

My mom was very sad to see us go, though I think Galixy’s sadness when he realized we wouldn’t be back until spring trumped it. He was genuinely upset and ended up just “wanting to talk about Omi.”

All fluids checked, everything loaded inclusive of cat, and we were off! Our first stop was Three Forks to say goodbye to my dad. We got to spend a couple days with them this summer, but it’s never enough time. He followed us to the gas station and filled up our tank before hugging and reminding me to stay safe. As safe as adventures can be!

I-90 is super familiar. I only took it to White Hall and then cut down to Dillon traversing some beautiful scenery. I-15 seems pretty flat. But gorgeous nontheless. In Dillon we stopped at the grocery store, then drove another bit. Galixy took a little nap.

In dubois, I stopped at the rest area and made dinner. I wanted to make it out of freezing lows tonight and get to salt lake city, but it seems just a bit out of reach. We are in pocatello at the walmart, being an attraction. should get just below 30, but I’m hopeful that the water tank won’t freeze. The stretch from dubois to here was filled by a movie for the kids. They’ve been excited to be back on the road.

Once we got parked, we read our night time books. Atreyu read his two practice books to us and I read two books in exchange, then tooth brushing, PJ’s and each into their own bunk, which they were very excited for! Their bellies and hearts are full, we’re parked safely for the night. Rhea could probably go potty again. Chikkie has been begging to go out, but I’m worried about him having been acclimated to ranch life and now we’re sitting in the midst of an unknown city.

Well, what’s on the agenda for tomorrow you may ask? a little bit of a slower pace please! more time working with the boys. hopefully some acquisition of necessities such as fuels and lights and a hose for my drain! Doggy dishes would be nice too πŸ˜‰ FUEL to get to warmer places also a good one!

On that note, you could help out with ten bucks? My paypal is always available to receive! πŸ˜‰ laneyesitton@gmail.com if I’m not mistaken!

Besides the shameless spange, I feel very adult right now. Getting places, dealing with things in my head, organizing and exisiting. I will do my best to be back on the daily blog posts filled with our adventures and the beauty we see.

I hope to hear from you some time! It’s currently a mess in the house and dark or I would take some pics of this amazing set up! I’ll do better on pix tomorrow too!

Loving you!! ❀ stay grateful!
