A week goes fast sometimes

Sunday Bugus headed into Bozeman. First we went to Costco for Pizza. Somebody left a note on my windshield. “Congrats. get a job.” Like I don’t try to work hard. Shows how unobservant they were of the bus they were looking at. After some hanging out we moved to Walmart for the night.

The parking lot was full of campers. One lovely lady traveling with her husband and two pugs came by to visit. It seemed more like an RV park than a Walmart parking lot. Completely surrounded it felt like. In the morning we had some more visitors and made a little money before heading to the playground next to the Mall. There we ran into a friend we had met the week before and he fed us fruits and music before we headed to the Hot Springs to meet up with my brother and niece.

We had a good relaxing time. Atreyu was off with Elli kicking his swimming feet like crazy. Galixy stayed close to me and started relaxing and floating on his own. I got a couple rocks laid in front of my bus. Then we went to park at the gas station at Four Corners so we’d be more accessible to the Dentist in the morning.

A gas station worker came out pretty early to inform us we weren’t allowed to park there overnight and should leave. I guess that saved me from giving the gas station some business, but I was already in a terrible mood and tears were streaking my face when this employee knocked on our door and rudely told us that “this isn’t a truck stop.” Funny, those truck pumps, and overnighted trucks really had me fooled.

Since we got to the dentist a little early, we wanderred to the nearby playground before containing ourselves into the dental office. My new tooth order came in wrong,so now I have this invisiliner thing with a tooth in it. I’m sposed to wear it at least 12 hours a day so my gap doesn’t shrink, but it makes me lisp like crazy, so I’m using it as a night time retainer. The real tooth shall be in by the 12th of september. All my medicaid dental allowance is used for this year.

After the dentist, we headed to Three Forks for a couple nights at my dad’s. I’m grateful we got some time in with them. My step-mom, Chris, is such a sweet lady. We can talk crazy and serious things. The boys had a blast running around the yard through hoards of grasshoppers bouncing away from them with each step. They brought out all the kids books and played stacking and lining them up. Counting them, and flipping through.

Thursday afternoon we headed for my Niece’s birthday dinner at my moms. I bought her an awesome unicorn cake and some candies.

Saturday was a busy day. We wanted to go to the Digger days, but Crikett’s son was sick and that put a dent in our schedule, though Crikett tried so hard to lend us the vehicle in time to do all we wanted. However, once we had the car and were heading into town, it would’ve been more stressful going to the digger days than to just go find a gift for Elli and head to her actual birthday party at the Trampoline place.

This trampoline place was tons of fun and the boys wore themselves out jumping crazy. Elli’s mom was very sweet making sure the boys and I were having fun.

Afterwards we drove the car back to Crikett. We ended up staying the night there enjoying the company.

On Sunday, Saliha came back to my mom’s with us. She stayed for three nights. I have such a wonderful time just hanging out with her that the days feel like they meld into one. The boys loved having a baby girl around to play with. We rejoiced in the feeling of our family coming together smoothly.

Tuesday was another dentist day, using up the last of my medicaid allowance on some lower molars.

Wednesday, yesterday, we packed up the bus and the boys and I headed to Billings. We made it with a quick pit stop to pee. Once we arrived in Billings, it was a half hour till the shop closed, so I decided that buying some groceries was more important so we could be stocked up for however long and whatever is coming at us. After shopping we were chilling in the parking lot. A tow truck came by and told me I wasn’t allowed to overnight in that lot. I explained that I was only here because my transmission is going into the shop that was already closed. He still threatened me that he would tow me in the morning before I awoke unless I moved to the lot next door. I did. But he didn’t tell all the other campers to leave either, inclusive of an opened pop up camper. They were all still there this morning, except the truck that went with the pop up camper. camper still there.

No matter, we headed over to Hanser’s. I had a brief consultation with Justin, who said he could take the transmission out and bring the bus out so we could stay in it whilst the work was being done. He showed us where to put Bugus till it’s our time to get in the shop, where we’ll be until it is all done. Hidden away in a corner under the loudest chirping tree ever.

We ate a Mac and Cheese lunch, did some school work and some cleaning. The boys have a little space outside to safely play.

I’m bored, but trying my best. My extension cable is plugged so we have power. Right now, I’m worried that they’ll pull us into the shop right as this storm really builds which would nix our 20 minute walk to the park around the corner. Atreyu already whined for us to go somewhere so I had to explain again that we’re here for our transmission, which is more important right now, because if we don’t get this done, our travels in Bugus won’t last much longer. He just sighed. That’s how I feel about it, too buddy.

*le Sigh*

Now would be a great time to conversate with me. I’m bored and missing humans. Any comments, questions, stories you’d have for me would be great! ❤

Loving you
