There shall always be adventures. I’ve been here almost two weeks. I’m intense cleaning the bus and mentally preparing some constructive changes. I pulled out a piece of the flooring and washed all bedding and rid myself of bedding. acquired new bedding. Danced around the actual purchase of a water tank. Sang songs about brackets. My to do list is a mile long.

We had our second Farmers Market yesterday and sold five alpaca carpets and three rings. Color ourselves successful. We came home and found a raccoon in the chicken coop and two chickens missing. My mom and I herded the remaining chickens and tried to extract the raccoon. As we failed, we ended up putting the chickens in our garage. My mom found a chicken this morning, so we’re back to 5. The coon hissing and growling at us was pretty scary, as we tried to prod it with sticks. I’m glad it left during the night. It was so scared. Definitely not fully grown.

We’ve also had a visit from a child Protective agent. Somebody had called with unsubstantiated allegations of drug use. The agent was a nice lady and only here for about a half hour. The kids ate yogurt and apple slices. The lady let me respond to the accusation and I was as honest as ever, saying that I don’t believe heavy drug use mixes well with raising children properly. She said she was going to get more information on the person who called her. I’m pretty sure I know who called. As multiple people have pointed out, I have nothing to fear or hide. My kids are beyond well cared for. It just takes me back to the time a human called the cops to our house and ended up being walked off in handcuffs themselves. Funny stuff, I tell you. Ironically the same human causing “drama” this time too. Deflected. I don’t care about your shenanigans.
My brother and I took the kids to the bozeman beach. Which is just a pond with a sandy shore line and grass area. They have trails in the back to explore and an awesome view. I couldn’t believe Atreyu and Elena went into the water. It was a pretty chilly day. I kind of miss the 70* lows, though that was a bit too hot, too. These kids splashed around happily, Galixy kept to the shores playing in the sand. Nik flew his kite a bit, a testament to the inclement weather.

The boys are really enjoying the freedom here. I want to draw out Alphabet letters in chalk on the driveway. Then I’ll ask them to recognize each letter. Then we’ll move on to the sounds each letter makes and finally, a scavenger hunt for items that start with each letter. I bet Elli will be keen to help us with this game. Hopefully not to the point of domination and showing off, but more on the helpful side. I’m sure she’ll be more than accepting with her ears. She’s grown quite a bit over the last year and has a new view on life. I’m sure her mother is a large contributor.
Galixy just came outside. He’s beginning to really ride his strider bike. It’s a beautiful sunny morning and I can feel the heat of the sun, while the breeze is nice and cool. The grass is green and lush. I’ve already trimmed a couple trees, but I see many more who could use some TLC.
The other day, I helped sell a large desk. Within 30 hours of posting it, a couple came to pick it up. They were very nice, starting their cleaning business. I helped load the desk and the guy was fairly impressed by my lifting power. My sleek tiny body is deceptive and capable. My mom ended up saying she’s very proud to have such a strong capable human in the family.

I think the biggest deterrent to beginning the purchasing process is the fact that I already see my money dwindling before I even spend it, which is totally the wrong attitude. I need to just see it as the natural flow because money won’t be worth much when all other resources are depleted. So let it flow! (*melody of let it go!*) Fuck it anyway. I sold three rings yesterday and those are generally the harder item for me to sell because sizing matters.
Talking to my friends has been quite a mental hurdle on it’s own. I’m trying, but thoughts don’t send messages. Adjusting to having accessible technology is apparently a thing. As well as accessible friends XD

Loving you!
