This snow bullshit. I try my best every year to avoid it, but somehow it finds me at least once a year. Last year it was three feet in Atlanta, Georgia, mid December. This morning we look out and little puffs are falling outside the window. And from there the temperature kept dropping.

No worries, we know how to keep warm.

Now the sun is coming out a bit through the clouds, just in time for it to say goodnight. Solo is trying to hustle up enough money to get into a hotel room. I brought him to a spot way out of his comfort zone, but as far as I know there should be money for him here. It’s too wett to liquid nail the door trim today so the door has a solid crack on the side where it locks and I still gotta figure out a latch from outside so the door doesn’t swing open when i go inside somewhere. Considering a large rock in lieu of a lock someone may easily lock me in with.
The boys are currently watching the Secret of Nhim 2. They wanted to go play in the Snow, but since I’d run out of propane earlier today I was really hesitant about them getting cold and wet. So after an intense cleaning and organizational morning we went to get the propane tank filled. After that we headed to this Walmart.
I’ve got to say, Solo’s chivalry doesn’t go very well with me. If he was young and spry, maybe, but then I’m thinking of Jeremiah who traveled with me last year. He was also consistently soured if I carried something heavy or did something I consider simple for myself. Some times the most chivalrous thing to do is to stay out of my way. Especially when you’re getting to the age where everything is beginning, or has been, hurting you. At that point, I’d really like to use my useful energy to help you out! I’d consider that chivalrous, to take the energy I offer at that time instead of then later hurting more.
And there goes the sun behind some clouds. I was really hoping that it’d dry out a little more than this. It’s gonna freeze tonight and that’s gonna make my new door frame crack because we didn’t put the trim on yesterday. poop. I’m sure it would’ve held just fine and kept the moisture out of it at least. fuck me. I just crossed “door” off a million times on a handful of different lists and even reorganized and made a new one. I don’t want to add door to it again DX

turned out might pretty for it being such a list of woes. All my money is being saved for the big chunks that are the most important.
I anchored my Aloe plant so it shouldn’t be swinging obnoxiously anymore, and screwed in my inverter, so it won’t be pulled off anymore. Once I get to one project, another one appears of equal or more energy value. Someday my current list will be done and another of equal energy value will be in place. By the by, this is the list of things needing to get done before I really get to do my Bug room.
I’m getting very impatient with sitting in Tucson. I need to get out of here. This is supposed to be a travel blog, not a sit in Tucson. In the snow… hmpf
Loving you!
