Blood, frozen, but Door!

I’m frozen and my kids opted out of shoes.

We spent most of our day at the Reid park with the outlets working hard. Here is the riddle picture from Instagram and facebook.

the solution to the Quiz: 2 drills, the knife, the sheet metal, the door, drops of blood. The drill caused the cut. out of all those sharp options, the dullest, and most painful, was the culprit.

The kids had a great time playing around those turtles. We fed some ducks until we spied the sign that said it was prohibited. Once it really got cold, I loaded the boys on the bus and put on a movie. It started to drizzle around three, but we were on the last few screws for the door, so we tied up those lose ends and went to Mobile Home Depot. They had the appropriate trim and liquid nail and were also kind enough to let us use their extension chord to put the door on it’s hinges. still got some kinks to work out, but our old door is no more.

It’s getting to be evening and I feel like another day was wasted and unproductive. We are now sitting at the McDonalds north side of Tucson. The kids appreciate the playpace, and I’m wondering where my coffee and fries are. These places seem more than incompetent lately and the consistent request for coffee is draining on me. I just went to complain about the 30 minute wait. I told them I want it all fresh and perfect. I mean, a coffee and a Large order of fries shouldn’t take that long. Just paying took over 15 minutes and those ordering screens take way longer than just talking to a person. I mean, great if you don’t have your mind made up, but Mcdonalds hasn’t really changed their options in years, just their pricing. The more we come here, the less I like it. Except now that I complained, I got the freshest fries, extra sauce, and a free strawberry pie! but Galixy peed in the playplace. I don’t understand because we went potty not too long ago. It’s stressful that Solo apparently likes to sit seperate. it would be abig help with potty runs and stuff if he was sitting closer at the least. Alas, here we are. It’s like we need space at different times. He also seemed to think I was bullshitting him when I told him my minorly insulated tin can gets colder in the mornings than sleeping outside. LMAO I wish.

I love watching my kids play. Right now they’re both wearing pink sweaters, so people have been refering to them as girls. Atreyu is helping Galixy get up in the play place properly. He’ll even wait when he realizes how far back his brother is. Sometimes Galixy goes ahead and shouts “Pumm ON bawther!” I’ve been keeping him dosed on the pain meds because I feel terrible he had to go through that. Atreyu says he’s going to call fries chips now. I said that is very British of him. He looked a little confused. Oh all the beautiful things they still get to learn! I can’t wait to see how and where we stumble upon our subjects once we know how to read together. The things we’re learning right now are very random, but Atreyu’s favorites are Dinosaurs and work trucks. Galixy is big with anything Atreyu likes and learning new words. Galixy may look a lot like his Dad, but I enjoy watching his mind work in the patterns I remember of my childhood. One of the big reasons I enjoy traveling alone more is that I think about speaking German with the kids more than when we don’t have company. I mean, when our company is exclusive to bus residents.

That door needs just a little more work, but then my next project will be getting the propane tank mount on back and a water tank under the sink. Then there will be a new shelving area, and I will be able to focus on getting stuff into the Bugroom. There’s so much to do and I’m over Tucson. It’s time for me to go, but we’re not quite there yet.

We’re back at safeway, but in a more favorable spot to get kick downs or kicked out. I need to organize my tools and tool box. It’s nice having a door and no door in the middle of my pathway. It reminded me how much tripping through my bus I’d been doing before the Bug. I’m very grateful that isn’t the case anymore, but it makes me very intolerant to tripping through my bus to get to things. It’s raining and supposed to rain and snow in the hills. Tomorrow is going to be super cold night again. I’m happy Solo has a tent to stay warmer with.

Chikkie is playing with the keyboard box. Rhea is curled up behind me in the play “room”. The boys are snoring away in their bed. Galixy is such a Warrior and Atreyu is such a gentle soul. I’m so lucky to have these two sunshiney beings in my life. Chikkie is now trying his best to play on the keyboard, what a cat.

I’m considering curling up with a movie, but I’m going to invest the energy to get the tools straightened out. The chaos is killing me. Thanks, mom. I may look like a chaot, but there’s usually a method in my madness. some things just take time to get into an indecipherable system. Who puts lightbulbs in the chickencoop? Garland does, and to me it kinda makes sense.

Tomorrow I’m going to go to Garland’s and grab my bikes. The kids bike cart is gonna be soaked. I hope my strap is still there, otherwise I’m just gonna get a stupid bike rack or dumpster something. Projects on projects. We’ll see what tomorrow will allow.

Presently some young ladies pulled up outside noting that we are Matilda the Bugus. Earlier today I overheard someone remark that they weren’t going to donate because they don’t want to further drug habits. I do lots of laundry, no drugs though.
