Same bullshit about the dentist. That Davis clinic the lady sent me to for Galixy’s teeth is expensive. Even with discount. I knew that lady was only out to get an extra client through the free clinic hook up.
I started working on the door first thing this morning. Solo messaged me checking if I didn’t need his help, so I packed up my stuff and headed to him. Hes been screwing and straightening out my rickety work.

He seems like a very nice, 50+ year old guy. He believes in God and rides trains. Solo is helping with the bus so that it’s nice and safe for the kids. In his gentle way he told me he thinks I’m screwing up by not accepting more money. He also called me a good mom for exposing my kids to the world and doing what makes me happy. I offered him a ride on my bus since he’s also trying to go east.
“Only under one condition,” he said. “I pay my way for the bus ride and the work I will do on the bus will be done for the kids, not you, or the ride.”
I trust his energy. Not once did I feel a reservation about meeting up with him like I generally do. Honestly, we need the help, and any help we can get to make this the most comfortable home my kids could imagine is appreciated. I want them to be learning and doing fun things and we cant do that while I’m consistently carpentering halfassed projects.
Solo gave me a little pure piece of silver on a certificate and I could feel my luck turning in that moment I’m optimistic. It’s the 18th of February and I believe my month of misery is coming to a close. I felt the energy to make my companion something of my art, so I did:

It started raining so we went to thrift stores. I got a carpet for $2 which is a steal considering same size carpets at the habitat for humanity were $20. But we found a plug in drill that works off my inverter for only $10. The only drill there, but man does it have some torque. A quick stop at Ace and off to a park with shelter and electric to screw around some more.
After we couldn’t see anymore and the lights refused to turn on in the shelter, we went to the grocery store and purchased dinner and water. We drove to park under a bridge, so Solo could have a dry spot. I turned on twinkle lights. Nothing better to brighten a gray rainy day. The door will be sturdy though, and that’s good.
I feel like Solo and I will have a good travel energy. He’s oldschool and respectful. He seems very impressed by what I have going on, but sees where I flail hard. I look like I’ve kinda got it figured out. Surely, for a bum, I am pretty “organized” but I’m far from having things really figured out. I’m so far from having things set up perfectly in here, which my poverty level is keeping me from. Once I get money, I hoard it until I fix something and ploof all the money has dispersed again. In that sense, solo is more than right. I need to take more advantage of the resources I come by, seek out specifically, dumpster, get cash benefits, etc. For my kids sake, if not myself.
I mean, what would I do if my bus was top notch condition? I’d probably afford myself a domain and an etsy. I’d fix my laptop to make this easier. I’d get the bus super legal. I’d expand my traveling and social experience.
And that in turn would enable even more learning opportunities for the kids.
Solo also said that there is a 17ft trailer available to me if I so choose. I would want to look at it, but that would allow for more merchandise storage, which I’d been thinking about for a while. It’s a thought, a possibility of our future.
Regardless, tomorrow we’re going to Guadalupe with Galixy for his teeth. I feel a lot better today. Things are looking up in Laneyland and Matilda.

We’re a mess, but once things stop breaking, we can get back to rebuilding. ❤

What a beautiful human to observe. I love his twang and not being able to understand him. It makes me laugh.
I’m grateful Chucky got a hold of him for me.
Hey hey! If you want to support an amazing street artist, you should give Charles Edward Whaley a listen on YouTube. He’s a cool cat himself. If I had money, I’d throw it in his guitar case. I did give him a ride to Phoenix last week, but he gave me some fuel pitch. And even insisted on giving me a few bucks for a pretty old nug. I would’ve given it to him for free and I was gonna give him more before we parted ways but I totally forgot in the hassle of my phone breaking on the way up.
I want to express how grateful I am to you reading. I check my stats on the regular and it really makes me feel special to see visitors and views. Especially the country denominations. I love that it tells me the countries my visitors are from. I wish it would get more specific to state/region. I’d learn some geography. I’m derailing because my point is: you are here, and that makes you amazing in my book, supporting me, observing me, or both.
Loving you!
