Obviously my phone is in my hand and I failed at keeping it out of my hand all day. But the morning was very manageable and my sleep was barely disrupted, so my phone will be put on the back burner more for sure.
The sun is shining in the bright blue sky. Theres chill in the air from the frigid night. The cat is roaming the playground almost like the dog. The kids are playing happy. They slide down holding hands. Galixy “cooks” the weeds with mud and Atreyu “eats” it. Then they watch the Tennis kids play.

I have had an array of visits. People are amazing and complex and fun. From a lady who contacted me in the morning and sent her sister with gifts, to a worker on the clock coming to talk regardless. I feel a lot of significant connections were made today. I can’t say for sure but time will definitely tell.
Last night I had a dream about birthing a baby from a skinny body (my dreams been birthing a lot, I think its writing the blog though, honestly). The babies right leg was black and festering. The doctors said it wouldn’t live and I spent the rest of the dream crying and trying to write about it.
Leaving the park, we felt like rock stars. Everybody there has been taken by Bugus. Everybody was very happy to have had the experience of seeing something so spectacular.
We went to the Hut to meet up with a bunch of friends. I took the kids to the food truck around the corner again. Atreyu wanted cheesy fries again but Galixy wanted the Geranimo dog. Their food is amazing and local. The guy is super cute and charismatic too, so that helps the sales.

The boys ate a lot, but it also filled my belly and let a couple other’s snack.
The boys played with the jenga blocks and danced. Galixy fell so we ended our night right in time for bed time. We’re parked with some one of a kind exposure. The people walking by are very interesting. These two ladies were just talking about not wanting tattoos because they couldn’t think of anything meaningful to put on their bodies. That makes me sad in a way. I know they have something that means a lot to them, maybe just an idea, but they lack a way to express that. I’m assuming, I’m sure theres a million other explanations just as applicable.
Before I could finish my last paragraph, a guy came up to sit next to me. While I’d been putting the kids to bed, he’d knocked on my door. I asked what I could do for him and he started on a long winded conversation bit. I told him that was lovely but I was putting my children to bed. “But I want to talk to you.” Yeah, I think putting my kids to bed has higher priority, and shut the door. I was watching out my window to make sure he left before I could go smoke, but I typed up a text to my friends to send someone cause of this odd person, so when he was suddenly sitting next to me, I could feel he was pretty lost, but hopefully would move on on his own very quickly. When he kept lingering, I became more uncomfortable. At that point my friends came walking by and told him to kick rocks. I ended up reparking for the night. Not willing to be in a sketchy area. One creep watching is still one too many.
It’s currently 40° but feels like 30. Low of 33. Kids tucked up super warm. I’m gonna go look up that food truck and write them a review. People like hearing that what they create is dank for your pie hole or brain hole.
Loving you!
