Hey there hi there ho there! We’re still in the quartzsite BLM desert. I know I’ve been lazy on the posts, but I’ve also been lazy in real life.
Ha! Jk. I spent what seemed endless hours brushing out my dreads. Why? Right after I finished 3/4 of my head? Because I want to run my fingers through it, and wash it with shampoo and conditioner and have lovely tresses and french braid it. I’ll sacrifice the volume.
Besides this project, i set up our tent and busted out my drill and handsaw and refurbished the bottom bunk. I still need a shelf above the stove, a small cabinet by the door, and my propane tank mounted outside back. Then I’ll tackle interior of the bug.
I swear, when manny constructed that bottom bunk he was being purposefully incapable of building something solid or adjustable. Like: “ha that bitch wont be able to pull this bunk out, she never wanted in the first place no matter how hard she tries. Jokes on you. I utilized and cut and remodeled regardless.
Still stuffed but we’re getting places. Just so you know, that is cleaned.
These past few days, we’ve been camping with Joe and his dog, griz. He is awesome with the kids, firm but let’s me do my thing. He cooks us dinner and makes coffee all day. Refreshing.
We need to go to town, but I’m putting it off. Mainly because I don’t feel like spending money. I know I should. Fuel, groceries, random money suckers. I’ve also decided I need to replace my jacket and put this one in a plastic bag to preserve it.
I opened a PayPal account and downloaded a GoFundMe app, so I’ll be able to raise money once I find more motivation to set more up. Also on the list to do is set up the home page to this now that I’ve located it. *le sigh*
So much to do. So much on my mind. So little words to convey this desert and it’s vibes. Seems like all the hippies are tripping and working and its slowing down my comprehension and action. I feel a lot more organized at this moment though, with a plan of future construction, though, bug construction thoughts are fuzzy and jumbled.
Anybody know of any cool winter jackets? Willing to scavenge up a pretty penny for a worthy replacement. Want colorful, many pockets, durable, maybe cool design.
These kids are either super advanced, acting right, and endearable or they are dancing on my nose, sneering devilishly at their actions of defiance. I love them so much. They’re giving me stress dreams about their deaths. Drive me crazy.
Anyway, better get back to getting nothing done XD
