It was a slow wake up at the truck stop. Atreyu uncharacteristically woke up first of everyone and Galixy last. Fed and watered them, coffee in hand I wasted maximum amount of time hanging out with Peaches. I was about to begin our goodbyes when a pilot worker comes blasting towards us talking about how we have to leave because we can’t solicit. I tried telling him I hadn’t been but he rudely interrupted and went back inside. I wished him a great life.
Regardless, I started my bus and said “safe journey’s” to Peaches on his way to Ohio. It was a pleasant, sunshiney drive about 20 miles to the City where I tried to locate a park and drove to a disk golf course instead. There I chatted with a guy for a few minutes who pointed me towards the rotary park. Another bit of driving with lots of kid whines and we pulled into a beautiful park with playground. See pictures below. Most of our day was spent there, picnicking, digging, walking, running, and playing.
In the afternoon we searched for a kitten harness, purchased some groceries and found a spot in the desert right as the sun disappeared. The kids collected all the materials for a fire pit, so that’s a promise for tomorrow.
Right now: 6:54PM dark and chilly out, dinner was frozen noodles with meatballs, very delicious and all gone. Animals did the pre rinse. Kids want to watch cars, so I’m taking the chance to do something for me for a second. XD ha! I doubt it, they’ll come up with something they need before I’m done here.
I feel like I made a lot of people smile today. I made a couple doll hairs happen, but I feel if I keep complaining about my shocks to everyone and their horses butts, something will come my way.
Chickie just laid down in Rhea’s bed and she isn’t pleased, but taking it. ❤
My mind is beginning to shut down. There’s a bunch more on my mind but it’s getting all kinds of jumbled.
